Abstract

Piezoelectric ceramics are often subjected to heavy loading. Piezoceramic sheets are essential elements of piezoelectric devices. The vibration amplitudes and static capacitances of PZT5 soft piezoelectric discs with Φ10×1mm3 and PZT4 hard piezoelectric sheets with 7×7×0.7mm3 under compressive stress are studied. The experimental results show that the piezoelectric properties of PZT5 is improved within 200 MPa, and PZT4 can withstand stress up to 500 MPa without depolarization. The capacitances of both piezoceramics decrease linearly with increasing compressive stress. And the PZT4 ceramics has the potential of improving work capability significantly under high compressive stress.


摘要

   压电陶瓷经常承受重载。压电陶瓷片是压电器件的基本元件。研究了高压应力作用下Φ10×1mm3尺寸的PZT5软压电陶瓷片和7×7×0.7mm3尺寸的PZT4硬压电陶瓷片的振幅和静态电容。实验结果表明,PZT5的压电性能在200 MPa范围内得到改善,PZT4可以承受高达500 MPa的应力而不发生去极化。两种压电陶瓷的电容均随压应力的增大而线性减小。PZT4陶瓷在高压应力下具有显著提高做功能力的潜力。

   从图1a)可以看出,PZT5压电陶瓷片随压应力增大振幅先变大后降低,在200MPa范围内压电性能没有降低;从图1b)可以看出,PZT4压电陶瓷片随压应力增大振幅先变大后降低,在500MPa范围内压电性能没有降低,说明硬陶瓷片能够承受更高的压应力。


2 PZT4陶瓷片做功能力随压应力变化

   从图2可以看出,在400MPa应力范围内,PZT4硬陶瓷片做功能力随应力增大而增大,说明PZT4陶瓷在高压应力下具有显著提高做功能力的潜力。

 

亮点:

  1. 采用PZT5软陶瓷片和PZT4硬陶瓷片两种压电陶瓷,研究了其在高压缩应力下的振动幅值和静态电容变化特性;             

  2. 分析比较了高压应力对两种压电陶瓷压电性能和介电性能的影响;       

  3. 提出并讨论了PZT4硬压电陶瓷在高压应力下的做功能力,结果表明,PZT4硬压电陶瓷在高压应力下具有显著提高做功能力的潜力。
